IACMI – The Composites Institute has been awarded a $5 million grant from the Department of Defense as part of the Manufacturing Education Extension Program (MEEP).
The three-year grant will allow IACMI to expand the composites training program led by Davis Technical College to four locations across the United States.
UT, the University of Dayton Research Institute, Purdue University, and Vanderbilt University will partner to implement the curriculum, while other institutions around the country will focus on certification, learning centers, workshops and requirements, and apprenticeship programs.
