Assistant Professor Devina Sanjaya has been elected to serve as deputy chair of the meshing subcommittee of the AIAA Meshing, Visualization, and Computational Environments (MVCE) Technical Committee. She will assist the chair of the meshing subcommittee in organizing and documenting subcommittee meetings and with coordinating between the geometry and mesh generation workshops, geometry modeling, and mesh suitability working groups within the subcommittee.
According to the AIAA website, the purpose of the MVCE Technical Committee is to explore the application of computer science to pre-processing, post-processing, and infrastructure in support of computational simulation in the aerospace community. The committee’s interests include mesh generation, visualization technologies, user environments, and application integration.
