TerMaath and Shin Receive Promotion and Tenure

Stephanie TerMaath has been promoted to associate professor with tenure. TerMaath joined MABE as an assistant professor in 2014 and was named the inaugural Jessie Rogers Zeanah Faculty Fellow in 2017 for her outstanding performance. She teaches mechanical and aerospace engineering courses and currently has a research project in biomedical engineering. Her research interests include high performance computing, structural and fracture mechanics, and material science.

 

 

Seungha Shin has been promoted to associate professor with tenure. Shin joined MABE as an assistant professor in 2014 and directs the Nanoscale Heat Transfer Laboratory. His research aims at providing better understanding and solutions to various energy transport and conversion challenges involving thermal energy, based on a fundamental examination of the roles of these four principal carriers.
