MABE offers undergraduate degrees in the following areas:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering
During the first two years, the curricula are nearly identical and provide education in the basic sciences of physics, mathematics, chemistry, and engineering common to these fields. All curricula are designed in the upper-division years to prepare the student for professional practice or graduate study.
Computer Requirements
Laptop computers are required for all freshmen in the Tickle College of Engineering. Click here to review minimum computer requirements.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available from the department as well as the college and university. Questions concerning scholarships should be directed to the college Academic and Student Affairs Office.
Graduation Requirements
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 in all departmental courses taken at UT and having no more than two grades below C in departmental courses are required for graduation. These are in addition to the university’s graduation requirements.
