EURēCA Symposium Showcases Research, Recognizes MABE Students

Three MABE students were recognized for their research at this year’s Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURēCA) symposium held April 19-23. The annual event showcases research and creative activities across all disciplines by currently enrolled undergraduate students.

Kassidy Boone, Jenny Patel, and Naydia Peoples (CBE) received an award of merit for research for their project entitled, “Structural and Rheological Analysis of Hydrogel for Local Pediatric Brain Tumor Drug Delivery.” They were mentored by MABE Assistant Professor Elizabeth Barker.

Tyler Morris received the third place for research award for his project entitled, “Development and Optimization of a Digital Hearing Aid to Increase Music Perception.” He was mentored by MABE Associate Professor Jeff Reinbolt.

MABE Assistant Professor Brett Compton mentored a group of MSE students who received an award of merit for research.
