MABE Students Participate in College-Wide Senior Design Showcase | Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering

After a two year pause due to the COVID pandemic, the Tickle College of Engineering held its annual college-wide senior design showcase in person on May 6 in the Zeanah Engineering Complex. Over 130 team projects representing all eight engineering departments were on public display. Forty-nine of those team projects were from MABE students. Eight mechanical engineering senior design teams designed and built remote-controlled robots that battled each other in MABE’s first annual BattleBots competition which was held separate from the showcase.

During the showcase, the senior design teams were judged on best poster, best AE, BME, and ME projects, and best prototype. Winning teams were announced at an awards ceremony held after the showcase. The winning BattleBots teams also received awards.
