Students Participate in Inaugural Tickle College of Engineering Senior Design Showcase

Forty-nine teams of engineering students from the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Biomedical Engineering (MABE) participated in the Tickle College of Engineering’s inaugural college-wide Senior Design Showcase at Thompson-Boling Arena on April 24. Over 130 team projects, representing all eight engineering departments, were on display at the event.

The showcase provided an opportunity for students, faculty, sponsors, and guests to come together and celebrate the completion of the open-ended projects our students have worked on for the past two semesters.

The showcase originated in the MABE department in 2016 with 37 team projects and established an outstanding model for this year’s college-wide showcase.

At the end of the event an award ceremony was held for all departments to recognize the top projects.
